Brooklyn, N.Y. (October 10, 2026) — Brooklyn FC Women extended their unbeaten streak at home to three games, drawing 1-1 at Maimonides Park against Dallas Trinity FC.
Brooklyn opened the scoring in the 30th minute through forward Tziarra King. Brooklyn won the ball back high up the pitch after a tackle from forward Carlee Giammona. Midfielder Jess Garziano then picked up the ball and played King down the left wing. King took on her defender before unleashing a left-footed shot that found the side netting for her second goal of the season.
In the 39th minute, Brooklyn had the chance to double their lead. Forward Ashlyn Miller cut back onto her left foot before crossing from the right wing. Her cross was just out of reach for Giammona, who was unable to make enough contact to get the ball in the back of the net.
Dallas began to gain a bit more control in the second half with a big chance in the 51st minute that skied over the bar from less than six yards out.
In the 70th minute, a penalty was awarded to Dallas after forward Jasmine Hamid was taken down in the box. Hamid stepped up to take the kick, but struck the ball directly against the right post and Brooklyn remained ahead 1-0.
Just a minute later, King took a long shot from about 25 yards out that forced a diving save from the Dallas goalkeeper who was off her line.
Dallas eventually found an equalizer late in the 87th minute. Forward Seven Castain was sent in behind the Brooklyn back line and was able to calmly finish past the Brooklyn goalkeeper. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
