Brooklyn, N.Y. (October 1, 2026) — Brooklyn FC Women celebrates forward Catherine Zimmerman as she was included in the Gainbridge Super League Team of the Month bench for September.
Zimmerman started all three matches for Brooklyn in the month of September, missing just one minute of action. Her biggest performance came in the match on September 13, as the team won 3-2 against Sporting JAX, who were top of the league at the time. Zimmerman scored two goals in the match, in the fifth and 82nd minute, with the second goal sealing the win for Brooklyn. She has also contributed an assist and three key passes this season while maintaining over a 77% passing accuracy.
Zimmerman currently is tied for sixth in the league for goals scored as Brooklyn reaches the halfway point of the season.
Brooklyn FC Women have three home matches in a row at the start of October. They host Fort Lauderdale United on October 2 at 7 PM ET and then Dallas Trinity on October 10, and Tampa Bay Sun on October 24. Tickets are available on SeatGeek.
