Brooklyn, New York — Brooklyn FC Women will return to the field this August for a new season in the Gainbridge Super League, bringing Division One women’s professional soccer back to Brooklyn for a condensed fall campaign in which every match carries added weight.
The 2026 fall season begins on August 15, when Brooklyn FC travels to face reigning league champion Lexington SC. Six days later, the club will open its home schedule under the Friday night lights at Maimonides Park, hosting DC Power FC on August 21 at 7:30 p.m.

Originally launched as the USL Super League in August 2024, the competition became the Gainbridge Super League ahead of its second season through a naming-rights partnership with Gainbridge. The first-place regular-season team will receive the Players’ Shield, while the top four clubs will advance to the playoffs. The semifinals are scheduled for December 5, followed by the Fall Season Final on December 12.
With only 14 matches and four playoff places available, there will be little room for a slow start or an extended run of dropped points. Every home match, road point and head-to-head result could prove decisive.
