Brooklyn, N.Y. (October 12, 2026) — Brooklyn FC Women’s forward Tziarra “Zee” King was nominated for the Gainbridge Super League Player of the Week award for week 9. Voting begins at 1 PM ET on October 12 and ends at 1 PM on October 13.
King was a standout in Brooklyn’s match last weekend against Dallas Trinity. She scored the lone goal for her side as Brooklyn drew 1-1 at home. King was sent running down the left wing by a through ball where she took on her defender, gained some space and unleashed a powerful left-footed strike from the left side of the 18-yard box that found the side netting. King was a constant threat in the match, as another long shot from about 25 yards out in the second half forced a diving save from the Dallas goalkeeper. King also won six duels while wiining three fouls as she played the full 90 minutes.
