Brooklyn, N.Y. (October 5, 2026) — Brooklyn FC Women announced that midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe has been called up to the Ghana National Team for their upcoming two matches against Mauritius on October 8 and October 13. The two games are part of the Women’s Preliminary competition for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Football Tournament.
Cudjoe recently represented her national team at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, helping Ghana reach the quarter-finals, and will link up again with them hoping to reach the Olympics in 2028.
Cudjoe joined Brooklyn FC in November 2025 and has played crucial minutes in midfield since then. She has made 18 appearances for the club and got her first Brooklyn assist earlier in the season against Sporting JAX in a 3-2 win.
Brooklyn goalkeeper and captain Bre Norris has also been called up to international duty, rejoining the Mexico U23 squad. Norris had previously been called up in May 2025.
Norris joined Brooklyn FC ahead of the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League season, earning the starting goalkeeper spot and making 10 appearances. She was named club captain this summer and started every game up to this point. Norris will be unavailable for Brooklyn’s match on October 10.
Brooklyn FC Women host Dallas Trinity FC at Maimonides Park on October 10 at 4 PM ET. They then have a weekend off and will play Tampa Bay Sun on October 24, their third home match in a row.
