Brooklyn, N.Y. (October 15, 2026) — Brooklyn FC Men head on the road to face Hartford Athletic on October 17, kickoff is 7 PM ET, streaming on ESPN+.
Brooklyn FC and Hartford Athletic have already met twice this season, once in the USL Championship and once in the Prinx Tires USL Cup, with both matches ending in wins for Hartford.
Hartford played Wednesday night and drew 1-1 with Charleston at home, which allowed them to clinch a playoff spot. Two weeks ago they also hosted the USL Cup Final, in which they fell to Louisville City 1-0 despite a strong performance. Hartford’s matches have tended to be low on goals, with the team ranking third least in goals scored, but also conceding the third least amount of goals in the Eastern Conference. Veteran forward Augi Williams has scored five goals in 2026 and could potentially score his 90th career goal in the USL Championship.
Brooklyn are coming off a long rest, having last played at home on October 3. The team is now looking towards 2027, and wants to end the season on a strong note to continue building next year. Midfielder Malik Pinto, who has also played at fullback this season, scored his first goal as a Brooklyn player last time out against Rhode Island. Midfielder Anthony Fontana has also played consistent minutes since he signed for the club in September, having started in five of his six appearances. He has created two chances while maintaining a pass completion rate above 82%. The team will also welcome back midfielder Jaden Servania and defender Tghomas Vancaeyezeele, both of whom are returning to the club from international duty.
Brooklyn FC Men’s next home match will be their final time playing at Maimonides Park this season. They will host Birmingham Legion on October 21 at 6:30 PM ET. The season will conclude away at Loudoun United on October 24 at 5 PM ET. Tickets are available on SeatGeek.
