Brooklyn, N.Y. (September 17, 2026) — Brooklyn FC Men have a second match in a row at home, celebrating Noche Latina and taking on FC Tulsa on September 19 at 7 PM ET. Streaming on ESPN+.
Brooklyn FC are in the middle of an incredibly busy stretch, with games nearly every three days. They travelled to Indiana midweek to take on Indy Eleven and were unable to come away with a win. The team will be hoping to bounce back in their first ever matchup with FC Tulsa.
FC Tulsa are one of the top teams in an extremely tight Western Conference and want to maintain home field advantage in the playoffs. Their last match was a 2-1 loss against Phoenix Rising, and the match against Brooklyn will be their third in a row on the road. Tulsa does not have the most potent attack, but they are one of the strongest defenses in the USL Championship. They have conceded the third fewest goals in the league, just 21 across 23 matches. They also average the lowest percentage of possession among Western Conference teams and will look to stifle the Brooklyn offense.
Brooklyn FC are hoping that the return home will help them get another positive result this season. The team has put in better performances at Maimonides Park, and gotten three out of their four wins this season at home. Defender Thomas Vancaeyezeele has been a consistent part of the team for Brooklyn this campaign, and made his 200th career appearance in the USL Championship last match at Indy. Midfielder Anthony Fontana also made his full Brooklyn debut against Indy, and will look to make another impact this weekend. Forward JC Obregón continues to lead the line for Brooklyn, and wants to add to the five goals he has scored in all competitions this season.
Another midweek match follows this weekend, as Brooklyn FC travels to face Birmingham Legion on September 23 at 12 PM ET. They finally have a weekend off and return home to face Detroit City FC on September 30, as well as Rhode Island FC on October 3. Tickets are available on SeatGeek.
