Brooklyn, N.Y. (November 4, 2026) — Brooklyn FC Women had players nominated for multiple awards this month that will all be decided via fan vote. Scroll down to see the nominees and how you can vote.
GOAL OF THE MONTH
Forward Tziarra “Zee” King was nominated for the Gainbridge Super League Goal of the Month for October for her strike against Dallas Trinity on Ocotber 10. Voting begins at 1 PM ET on November 4 and ends at 1 PM on November 5.
King scored the lone goal for her side in the 30th minute as Brooklyn drew 1-1 at home. She was sent running down the left wing by a through ball where she hesitated, took on her defender, gained some space and unleashed a powerful left-footed strike from the left side of the 18-yard box that found the side netting.
SAVE OF THE MONTH
Goalkeeper Bre Norris was nominated for the Super League Save of the Month for October for her stop against Sporting JAX on October 31. Voting begins at 2 PM ET on November 4 and ends at 2 PM on November 5.
Norris made a diving fingertip save in the 35th minute against Sporting JAX to keep the game level at 2-2. A long shot from outside the 18-yard box was flying into the top corner before Norris flew through the air to tip the ball wide. She made four saves in this match to help earn a point for Brooklyn.
ASSIST OF THE MONTH
Midfielder Jilly Shimkin was nominated for Assist of the Month for October for her dime in Brooklyn’s 4-4 draw with Sporting JAX on October 31. Voting begins at 3 PM ET on November 4 and ends at 3 PM on November 5.
This was Shimkin’s second of three assists in this match, the first player in Gainbridge Super League history to record three in a single match. For her second, she received the ball after a backheel pass from teammate Catherina Zimmerman. Shimkin then nutmegged a defender as she dribbled towards the six-yard box, muscled off another defender and drew in the goalkeeper before making a slide pass across the face of goal. She found forward Ashlyn Miller who scored her first goal for Brooklyn FC, blasting a ball into the side netting.
All of these awards will be decided via fan vote on the Gainbridge Super League’s official social channels. Fans can vote here on Instagram Stories.
Brooklyn FC Women return home this weekend, hosting Carolina Ascent FC on November 7 at 2 PM ET. They then head on the road for two matches against DC Power FC and Tampa Bay Sun. Tickets are available on SeatGeek.
