Vote Now: Catherine Zimmerman Nominated for Player of the Week
Brooklyn, N.Y. (October 26, 2026) — Brooklyn FC Women’s forward Catherine Zimmerman has been nominated for the Gainbridge Super League Player of the Week award for week 11. Voting begins at 1 PM ET on October 26 and ends at 1 PM on October 27.
Zimmerman scored the winner in Brooklyn FC’s 1-0 match against Tampa Bay Sun on October 24. A cross from forward Ashlyn Miller found Zimmerman sliding in at the back post to score in the 90th minute to win the match for Brooklyn and keep them firmly in the playoff hunt. This was her third goal of the season and is now Brooklyn’s top scorer for the season. Zimmerman had three shots on target with two of them on target, as well as winning five duels and two fouls for her team.

Brooklyn FC Women head on the road to play Sporting JAX on October 31 for a Halloween matchup kicking off at 2 PM ET. They will return home on November 7 to host Carolina Ascent at 2 PM ET. Tickets are available on SeatGeek.
