The Croatian midfielder will remain in Brooklyn following a strong first season with the club
Brooklyn, N.Y., July 30, 2026 — Brooklyn FC Women’s midfielder Kristina (Kiki) Marković has signed for the Gainbridge Super League 2026 Fall Season, pending league and federation approval.
During her first season with Brooklyn FC, Marković appeared in 10 matches, with three starts and 223 minutes. Before joining Brooklyn FC, she played for FC Rapperswil‑Jona in the Swiss Women’s Super League, where she made 36 league appearances and notched 5 goals.
“In a 14-match season, you need midfielders who can do more than one job, and Kiki is one of those,” said Alex Smith, Brooklyn FC women’s head coach. “She has European and international experience behind her. My job now is to put her in the positions that showcase the quality she has.”
Marković joined Brooklyn FC in August 2025 ahead of the 2025/2026 Gainbridge Super League Season.

Brooklyn FC Women open the 2026 Fall season on August 15 on the road against Lexington SC at 7 p.m. ET, followed by their home opener against DC Power on Friday, August 21 at 7:30 pm ET. Tickets are available on SeatGeek.
