BROOKLYN, NY. – Brooklyn Football Club is proud to announce that our USL Super League women’s Soccer team will adopt the same badge as our men’s program, in order to keep the fabric of the club consistent and cohesive across our academy, women’s, and men’s squads.
We intentionally want to adopt the same logo and core branding for both our USL Super League and USL Championship teams, to further reinforce our shared identity, ethos, ambition, and values between all of our players, squads, supporters, ownership, and staff. For us at Brooklyn Football Club, the shared badge is a literal thread which ties our academy, women’s, and men’s programs together. We are so excited for the women to be the first to wear our badge, and kick off our project this summer. Brooklyn Football Club is determined to create an inclusive environment. One that is striving to achieve excellence both on and off the pitch and thoroughly represent our borough’s distinct and profound footballing culture. The shared visual identity is our way of outwardly stating that Brooklyn FC is a club that plays for everyone in the 77 diverse and unique neighborhoods of Brooklyn.
“Our club is built on the principles of inclusion and empowering our next generation of leaders,” stated Brooklyn Football Club CEO Mack Mansfield. “The launch of our Super League team in August, competing at the highest level of professional soccer in our country, allows us to provide a platform to grow and elevate the women’s professional game for our city. By utilizing the same logo for both our USL Super League and Championship teams, we are able to better align the core values of the club while still giving each team their own unique tone and vision.”
