Brooklyn, N.Y. (September 15, 2026) – Brooklyn FC Men fell 4-0 to Indy Eleven on the road this week. The team came into this match on short rest and will look to bounce back at the weekend.
Brooklyn had a couple chances early in the match in the 11th and 14th minutes of the match. A deep cross found forward JC Obregón at the back post but his header went slightly wide. Midfielder Taimu Okiyoshi took a long shot three minutes later, but it went straight at the goalkeeper.
Unfortunately, Indy Eleven began to take control of the match after this, with their first goal coming in the 17th minute. A cross from the right wing found midfielder Jack Blake making a late run who finished with his first touch at the edge of the box.
In the 33rd minute, Indy got their second goal through forward Bruno Rendon. From a Brooklyn corner, Indy countered and the move was finished by Rendon for his ninth goal of the season.
Blake got his second goal of the match in the 40th minute after another counter-attack. Rendon found Blake with a cut-back who was able to tap in for the third goal.
Indy added a fourth goal just after halftime from forward Edward Kizza.
In the 75th minute, Indy forward Charlie Sharp received a red card after throwing an elbow at Brooklyn midfielder Jaden Servannia.
Brooklyn controlled much of the ball for the rest of the match, but were unable to find the back of the net.
