
Brooklyn, N.Y. (September 2, 2026) — Brooklyn FC Men today announced that forward Markus Anderson has been recalled by Major League Soccer club Philadelphia Union from his loan at Brooklyn FC in the USL Championship.
Anderson had been a key member of the inaugural Brooklyn squad, making 16 appearances in the USL Championship and starting 14 of those matches. He scored six goals in those games, most recently scoring on August 29th, 2026 in a 4-1 win against Sporting Jacksonville. Markus also contributed four league assists and made four appearances in the Prinx Tires USL Cup, adding two more goals in that competition.
Anderson previously spent time under Brooklyn head coach Marlon LeBlanc at Philadelphia Union II and the two reunited for the 2026 USL Championship season at BKFC.
